Hens Runhaar, Harriet Bulkeley and Rob Raven are organising a panel on “Governing urban nature for sustainability: complex architectures & emerging agency” during the next ESG Governance in Utrecht on 5-8 November 2018. The conference is hosted by Utrecht University, Faculty of Geosciences and the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, together with the Earth System Governance Project. Seven abstracts have been accepted by colleagues from both our NATURVATION project as well as from its successor, GREEN SURGE. Themes that will be discussed include: upscaling of nature-based solutions in cities, transnational governance, urban politics, top-down planning, bottom-up approaches and ‘mosaic governance’ etc.
