Exploring Stockholm's urban green spaces in the snow
Naturvation postdoctoral researcher Laura Tozer is in Sweden January 28th to February 5th carrying out field research on the conditions and innovations that can enable increased implementation of nature-based solutions in cities. Urban green spaces in Sweden offer recreation opportunities, provide ecosystem services like water management, and act as refuges for biodiversity. Naturvation is speaking with municipal, regional and national policy makers, NGOs, and practitioners to learn more about urban nature in Sweden and the regulatory context that shapes the extent to which nature-based solutions are incorporated into sustainable urban development.
