In November 2020, the Urban Nature MOOC - Massive Open Online Course passed an important milestone of 10,000 course enrolements. Since starting in January 2020, the online course has attracted over 35,000 course visitors and 10,000 course enrolements, and resulted in almost 1,000 course completers.

The compendium for the Urban Nature MOOC has been downloaded some 13,500 times in English as well as 550 times in Spanish and 250 times in French. New podcasts have been added and new films will be included to provide further layers of learning in the online course. In addition, new  publications will be added to continue to offer diverse readings.
