The aim of this review was to take stock of and integrate the existing knowledge regarding the social and cultural values and benefits of NBS in the urban environment. For this purpose, we differentiate between nature-based solutions values and benefits and developed a categorization. Based on the literature review we came up with adjusted social and cultural value and benefit categories for nature-based solutions.
