The Natural Capital Group’s Annual Conference ‘Investing to Green Greater Manchester Conference’ is taking place on 30^th January 2019 (9.30 to 16.30) at the Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester. With the first Natural Capital Investment Plan being developed for Greater Manchester, this conference will explore how to promote investment in opportunities that protect and enhance Greater Manchester’s natural capital to support a healthy population and economy. Jonny Sadler (Manchester Climate Change Agency), who works on Naturvation's H2020 sister project GrowGreen, will open his presentation with some of Naturvation’s identified challenges of making financing work for nature-based solutions as well as our recent findings on what key issues of urban NBS finance need to be addressed.
